years ago i stumbled upon this group in cologne. i entered the room to a concert which was nearly over and playing this very song made the crowd go crazy. i suppose you get an impression of the scene when you watch the video :D

I recognize that the songs i post are somehow losing speed from day to day, i may change that in forthcoming posts, but for now listen to the xx, and listen to their longplayer as well, quite good i think.

I've seen them live this fall as an opener for dredg in cologne. not much crowd-interaction but the music made up for this. i'm quite sure one will hear more from them in 2010.

Today the tone will be a bit brighter again. A band which i just yesterday discoverd surfing through hype'em. Besides it's a pretty cool video, too.
